Traumatic Memories are Different

How a memory is experienced in the present helps to determine if the experience was traumatic or not.

When you think about a past experience do you recall it or does it feel like you're reliving the experience? In other words, you have the physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, and memories in the present that feel as if the experience is happening to you right now.

Healing happens when the memory is transformed in the brain.
